    Job Description
    • Knowledge of Veterinary medicine required. Medical knowledge of medications, diagnostics, laboratory testing, and basic knowledge of veterinary field is needed to perform everyday tasks. • Must be able to handle payments, directing client's concerns and questions to the proper person, maintain client's written and digital records, answer phone calls in a professional manner and direct messages to the proper person, attending to patients and clients in person, and keeping a professional and helpful attitude during stressful events. • Must have ability to multi-task while maintaining regular work load. • Quickly adapt and learn protocol of receptionist duties. Following directions completely and finishing all tasks in a timely manner. • Previous experience with Avimark preferred. Must be able to perform basic functions such as checking client in and out for services, scheduling appointments, and entering patient services into Avimark. • Must be able to maintain a clean, organized and professional work environment. Maintain a clean atmosphere by keeping reception area clean at all times, cleaning exam rooms, and basic housekeeping of work and reception areas. • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EVERY SATURDAY, NO EXCEPTIONS. • Must be able to arrive to work on time, on scheduled days, and work until finished with shift. Shift will not always end at 6pm due to emergencies. • Looking to fill a full-time and/or part-time position. Benefits include 401k, paid vacation & paid holidays. Uniform provided after 90 days.
